“Mobile Oxnard anonymously challenges you” i giggled at the irony of these words put together but only because anonymously and Oxnard were in there.

I’m really late to it but I’m really enjoying DDR! I was able to turn off all the annoying Wii gimmicks and controller shaking so now I can actually beat levels and even play on the medium setting. It’s kind of how games should start for people who are new to a series, rather than have all this unbeatable, complicated stuff in the way and too many menus and options to figure it out.
I’m also counting every nice thing that happens today so it’ll seem like a lot of nice stuff happened even if bad stuff does too. R
you guys are lucky these days, back when DDR was new it was like jumping in a pool of hungry sharks and trying to get to the other side.
Also i started DDR at the arcade so as an added bonus i had crowd pressure :<
Wow, i forgot this dance mix existed. i used to love it when this came on on the radio at like 1 am back then.
So i added up all the money im spending on anthrocon this summer, it comes out to some $523 approx. The price of the whole stay is $1647.30 (were staying in a two bedroom suite) and i only have $237.50 to spend on food and novelties. looks like i need to start putting away at least another 300-400$
I held off on getting Sly 4 when it came out due to the majority of reviews claiming its mediocre and does nothing to change the series. Then I thought about a few things and ended up buying it. Totally worth it.
-It’s the fourth game in a series that hasn’t been on any of…
I’ve still got a lot to learn on this myself, but this is the basic gist of how I do it! It’s not much of a tutorial or anything, but just a rough idea of how I do it myself.
Whenever you’re trying to shade anything somewhat realisitically, you’ve got to think of it in a 3D space. Everything has volume, everything overlaps and has form and volume etc. It can be hard to wrap your head around, but thats what practice is for! As for light sources, I usually decide them right when I start the shading process. Different types of shading can create different moods: The first one’s fairly normal, but it gives off a much different feel than the last one, which is almost ominous. Different color lighting can affect mood, too; I used an orangish color shadow, while using a blueish tint on that last one would add to that ominous feeling even more.
My shading used to be a lot more blurred and gross so I’m trying to work more with a mixure of both hard and soft shadows, which is closer to real life. Experiment though! With different color shadows, different directions, multiple light sources, etc. Like, I just mashed all these together and got this:
So who knows! Don’t be afraid to experiment with it!
